Hetty Douglas (b. 1992, Sheffield GB) is a self taught lesbian artist, working predominantly in painting. Taking inspiration from her self-proclaimed complex childhood, Hetty creates work that explores the complexities and dark shadows of individual identity without fear of diving inward. Her inquiries are both introspective and a universal reflection on reconciling our inner worlds and wounds, often with a sexual or intensely personal twist.
