Emiel Tromp is a goofy footer that hails from the Dutch beach town of Wijk aan Zee. Aka “Wijkiki” to the locals. Though he is the 2022 and 2023 Dutch longboarding champion, Emiel is predominantly a free surfer who is equally adept on a shortboard. Skating, snowboarding and high-design woodworking are among his other talents and professional pursuits. He lists G-Land as his all-time favorite wave and The Notorious BIG as one of his go-to hip hop artists. More recently, Emiel spearheaded the creative concepting and physical construction of the new display for 00 Wetsuits by XIIIG. Located inside of Amsterdam's best shop: Behind The Pines.
