When he isn’t in the water, Flynn can be found at home taking care of his two huskies while oftentimes preparing the day’s spearfishing catch. Also an avid reader and arguably an unintentional Taoist.

4:30-5am.
What is your most consistent motivation
To go surfing or diving.
What’s your typical morning routine - weekday vs weekend
Wake up, drink a liter of water, take the dogs on a run or walk on the bike or the beach and then coffee and breakfast — all before the sun rises so i’m ready for whatever. Weekend is the same as weekday for me.
How do you caffeinate?
Grind coffee, head water, french press, slight creamer with oat milk.
What is your guilty pleasure or luxury item I want
More surfboards or dive gear.
Do you meditate?
Yes, everyday.
What’s your ideal fitness routine?
Surfing and yoga.
What is your spirit animal?
The Snow Leopard.
What is the project you’re most devoted to right now?
My house and yard.
What is the new skill you want to learn or class you want to take?
Captain’s license and Level 2 freedive course.
What is one snack and one drink you’d pick from a convenience store?
Pistachios, cashews and water.
If you had a “last supper” what would be on the menu?
Big colorful salad, mashed sweet potatoes with ginger and coconut milk and steamed or baked fish that I caught spearfishing that day.

Counting Crows first album.
What’s a book you could read a second time?
My Dad’s book, The Haole Substitute.
What is a movie you could watch once a week?
Probably Step Brothers, Scarface, or 300.
What is the most memorable concert you’ve been to?
My first concert when i was 13 years old, crowd surfing to Green Day.
What is your all-time favorite vacation or destination spot
Indonesia or Tahiti.
